Welcoming  the grace of Christ's Resurrection
Easter Sunday

Christ died and rose once for all, and for everyone, but the power of the Resurrection this Passover from slavery to the freedom of goodness must be accomplished in every age-- every day of our lives. How many deserts, even today, do human beings need to cross!  Above all, the desert within, when we feel no love for God or neighbor; when we fail to remember that we are guardians of all that the Creator has given us and continues to give us.  God's mercy can make even the driest land become a garden; it can restore life to dry bones.

This was the message of our Holy Father to us on the occasion of the first Easter of his pontificate

So this is the invitation which I address to everyone:
Let us accept the grace of Christ's Resurrection!
Let us allow ourselves to be renewed by God's mercy,
let us allow ourselves to be loved by Jesus,
let us enable the power of his love to transform our lives too:
and let us become agents of his mercy,
channels through which God can water the earth, protect all creation and make justice and peace flourish.
From  the Urbi et Orbi Message of Pope Francis, Easter 2013.

And we who live within the "garden"  of Presence Health, have the advantage; by our name; and, by hourly and daily being reminded of the presence of the Risen Lord through our ministry as  we "restore life to dry bones," help to heal and give hope to those who are in the desert of sickness, addiction and pain.  Presence Health means that the presence of the Risen Lord is communicated by our presence and by our touch.
